Dr. Weinberg will present "Prepare yourself for a Process Group - The Magic and Charm of the Institute Experience," describing some advantages of participating in process groups, pointing out the risks, and preparing participants by explaining how to make the best use of it.
  • The here-and-now experience in such groups promotes awareness of the dynamics created by the conglomeration of our identities, culture(s), and social expectations.
  • Process groups are an energizing, vitalizing, and effective remedy for therapist burnout. Participants find that the experience enhances their skills, growth, and self-understanding both as clinicians and as persons.
  • These skills ‎are important in conducting any ‎group, of any theoretical orientation, length or population. Prepared by Dr. Weinberg, participants will experientially learn by participating in a four-session process group.
